Who am I?

Postmodern Soubrette is a nom de web for moi, Susie Stone. I am pursuing a B.F.A. in performing arts at the University of Wyoming. I am also  one of many millions living with mental illness. For me theatre is a literal raison d’être. but it took me most of my life so far to figure out how much I needed to have a  life in art.

In opera the “Soubrette” is a stock character. She is the friend or servant of the ingénue. And although she plays second fiddle, she is young, smart, willful and  bold.
